WUSC enjoyed the illustrations from the fundraiser so much that they wanted to use that same art style for merchandise. Based on their slogan, “left of the dial, right in your ear”, I drew this scene featuring those retro fonts and inky line art, opting for a more modernized but still nostalgic design. As it is all one color, I created the illusion of depth with a hatching texture overlay. I knew from the start that I wanted the radio tower logo to be the focal point, so all lines draw the eye to the antenna.
